Dolce far niente. 無所事事的美好。
This week, I practice the sweetness of doing nothing.
Current location: Amsterdam
This Italian Mama is a real natural and mindful beauty, I called her Raphaela.
She goes to museums in the morning or shop in local bio market. Sometimes in the afternoon, we sit face to face, I do travel blogging, she reads art books or do some paintings.
This morning she was a bit disappointed after the visit at Rijksmuseum. She came here to see Vermeer, but there were just 2.
And then some names flying over the table, Kandinsky, Matisse, Bruegel, Van Gogh, Monet.
The (artistic, very spiritual) Italian guys were half naked cooking mushroom risotto, Raphaela suggested me to take a picture and to post it after I told her in my family usually women cook.
(But I think the point here is not about which gender is cooking anymore.)
Raphaela, is this so-called “ Dolce far neunte”? I asked her.
（it’s an Italian phrase meaning the sweetness of doing nothing) .
“Not really”, she answered.
Ok… I am learning…
